HERBERT ROBINSON
Building Inclusive Communities
Herbert Robinson is a dedicated social justice and prison reform advocate and a Georgetown University Pivot Program Cohort 6 Fellow. He co-facilitates the Unlock The Box DC (UTB DC) coalition, to END SOLITARY CONFINEMENT, specializing in fostering connections and promoting collaboration within diverse communities. One directly impacted by the Judicial system, Herbert brings a unique perspective and personal experience to his work, empowering and supporting individuals facing similar challenges.
He holds a Mental Health First Aid Certificate, enabling him to assist those experiencing mental health crises. Herbert has also participated in the Policy Training Academy by the DC Justice Lab, enhancing his policy development and advocacy skills.

Herbert is the founder and C.E.O. of AGG Transportation, a comprehensive provider of transportation and logistics services in DC, and across the United States. Tailored services ensure that whether it is general freight, a commercial move, or a residential relocation, each client receives the attention to detail and customer care they deserve.
Herbert has also co-founded Growing Pain Solutions, an organization dedicated to empowering recently released individuals through education, advocacy, and health equity. Committed to building an inclusive and resilient community, he strives to ensure everyone has the opportunity to thrive and belong.

Co-Facilitator
Unlock the Box is a national advocacy campaign aimed at ending solitary confinement in all U.S. prisons, jails, detention facilities, and juvenile facilities, and bringing the United States into full compliance with the UN’s Mandela Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners within 10 years.
